Two Valley-area businessmen were honored Monday for their leadership and commitment to the College of Business Administration and Economics at Cal State Northridge.
Sanford P. Paris, owner of Paris Industrial Parks, and Gary C. Dickey, a partner with the Deloitte & Touche accounting firm, were honored during the college’s third annual Awards for Business Leadership luncheon at CSUN’s University Club.
“Both have been involved as volunteer leaders and financial supporters of the college,” said Miriam Markus Zacuto, associate director of development and alumni relations at CSUN.
The Corporate Leadership Award went to Bank of America. The bank donated two $50,000 pledges to the college’s Business Student Equity Center, which assists minority students, and established a mentoring program that pairs students with business executives, Zacuto said.
