Shuttle Bus Service to Venice Beach Resumes
The Department of Transportation has resumed the DASH community shuttle to Venice beach.
The buses will run every 10 minutes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays through Labor Day, said department spokeswoman Carolyn Perez Anderson.
Passengers are transported from the DASH parking lot at 4551 Glencoe Ave. in Venice to the beach, three miles away. Last year, 16,000 people used the service, she said.
DASH users can park at the Glencoe lot for $2 and ride the bus for free or park elsewhere and pay 25 cents for the ride.
