Woman Raped While Jogging in Midday
Orange County sheriff’s deputies are seeking a rapist who attacked a woman as she jogged in broad daylight Tuesday.
The 31-year-old victim was jogging on an abandoned road adjacent to bustling El Toro Road in Mission Viejo, near Marguerite Parkway, Lt. Hector Rivera said.
“The suspect grabbed her from behind and pulled her into the bushes at 11:34 a.m.,” he said.
The woman was treated by doctors but did not require hospitalization, authorities said.
The rapist is described as a white man, in his mid-20s, 5-feet-7, about 150 pounds, with straight, light brown hair and a mustache.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call (714) 628-7171.
