Fifteen nonprofit organizations in Camarillo will benefit from more than $65,000 in service contracts awarded by the Camarillo Health Care District.
Contracts range from $1,000 to $8,000 and will go to well-known organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club and the Camarillo Family YMCA, as well as to such lesser-known groups as Christians Acting Together and Long Term Services of Ventura County.
“Our service contract program is in keeping with the district’s commitment to meet the health and wellness needs of district residents by promoting, coordinating, integrating and managing quality related services,” said Lin Hollinger, president of the Camarillo Health Care District’s board of directors.
The Camarillo Health Care District has distributed annual contracts to local service providers since 1995.
