Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Los Angeles man on suspicion of murder early Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy outside Magic Mountain in April, authorities said.

Antwan Robinson, 18, is suspected of killing Daniel Vega of Fontana in the parking lot at the amusement park on April 8, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said. Graciela Arredondo, 37, of Los Angeles, and a 14-year-old male cousin of Vega’s were wounded in the shooting.

Robinson was arrested about 5 a.m. Thursday in South-Central Los Angeles as sheriff’s homicide detectives and gang investigators served search warrants at six addresses in the hunt for Robinson, authorities said. Robinson was being held Thursday night without bail in Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Just before the shooting, a fight between members of an African American gang and a group of Latino students erupted just outside the theme park’s entrance.

About 15 minutes later, as visitors poured through the gates and into the parking lot after the park closed, Robinson fired into the crowd, authorities say, killing Vega and striking his cousin in the foot and Arredondo in the hand.
