Authorities issued a warrant Friday for the arrest of a 19-year-old Altadena man suspected of shooting a teenager to death last week on a school campus.
Miguel Angel Estrada was charged with killing a 14-year-old Altadena youth who was gunned down on the grounds of Pasadena’s Washington Middle School, Pasadena Police Lt. Keith Jones said.
Salvador Diaz was fatally shot in the upper body and a friend was wounded in the attack, which occurred around dusk May 27.
Pasadena detectives fear Estrada, whom they describe as a gang member, may have fled to Mexico.
