JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A mother has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for “lending” her baby daughter to a near-stranger for use as a prop for begging, officials said.
The baby disappeared for six weeks before she was found with the young woman who had borrowed the child to gain sympathy.
The mother, Tyaina Green, 19, pleaded guilty to child neglect Wednesday.
