Marriage Tax Penalty

Both Republicans and Democrats are addressing the issue of marriage taxes. When newly married couples sat down to calculate their taxes, they found that the Internal Revenue Code had provided them with a wedding present: a tax increase.
The application of marriage taxes needs a new evaluation. It is important that married couples are not penalized for beginning the foundation of the family institution.
We need to encourage two parents staying together, rather than giving them an incentive to separate.
