Another $1.9-Million Loss for Trimedyne

Trimedyne Inc., Irvine manufacturer of medical lasers, reported a second-quarter net loss of $1.9 million, or 17 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.9 million, or 18 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 declined 17% to $1.5 million from $1.8 million.

For the first half, the company posted a net loss of $3 million, or 27 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $2.8 million, or 26 cents a share, for the first six months of the prior year. Revenue was down 8% to $3.7 million from $4 million.
