Construction to Close Harbor Blvd. Ramps

Share

Motorists exiting the Santa Ana Freeway to the Disneyland area will be directed to a different route beginning Thursday. The freeway’s northbound onramp and offramp at Harbor Boulevard--the city’s main access to the resort area--will close for 13 months. The closure will allow for the realignment of the ramps to make way for a widening of the freeway.

Motorists who usually exit at Harbor are advised to use Katella Avenue. Drivers on Harbor wanting to go north on the freeway will be directed to the ramp at Ball Road.

The southbound onramp and offramp at Harbor are scheduled to close in early July.

The ramp work is part of the $1.1-billion project to improve the freeway through Anaheim, Orange, Fullerton and Buena Park. The project, which includes carpool lanes and major ramp improvements, will be completed in 2000. Construction work information: (949) 724-2077.
