Irvine Sensors Incorporates Imagek Unit

Irvine Sensors Corp. said Thursday it has incorporated its Imagek unit as a wholly owned subsidiary to make it easier to set up deals with potential partners for its electronic film system technology.
Irvine Sensors Chief Executive James Evert will continue to lead the unit, now known as Imagek Inc., but the company plans to recruit a new chairman and chief executive for the unit.
Costa Mesa-based Irvine Sensors develops and makes electronic devices.
