Recount Costs
Re Alarcon vs. Katz ballot recount, June 17: Why in the world would it cost $80,000 to recount ballots in the race for the San Fernando Valley state Senate seat? I would be more than happy to recount them in my home for one-tenth the price; a mere $8,000!
