A Pomona police undercover operation led to the arrest of 29 men on suspicion of soliciting sex.
The 10-hour operation Wednesday came after women residents complained that men were approaching them on the street and asking for sex.
Three female officers posed as prostitutes. The 29 men all allegedly approached the officers and solicited a lewd act, according to Cpl. Pat Burson.
The undercover officers then directed the suspects into a room at the Sunset Motel on East Mission Boulevard, where other officers made the arrests, police said.
One of the 29 men was also arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics. The suspects came from various locations from Covina to Yucaipa, police said.
