Police Release Sketch of Rape Suspect
Police have released a sketch and description of the man they are seeking in the Tuesday morning kidnapping and rape of a 17-year-old girl.
The girl was walking west on Carbon Canyon Road when the man pulled up to her about 1:45 a.m., telling her he had a gun and ordering her into his pickup truck, authorities said. They said the vehicle was a black or dark-colored American mid-size model.
He took her to a commercial complex in Brea, raped her, then let her go, police said.
Authorities described the suspect as a clean-shaven Latino, about 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a plaid shirt, plain shorts and high-top work boots, police said.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Brea police at (714) 671-4454 or (714) 671-4470.
