Tycom Sued Over Dental Patent Dispute

Moyco Technologies Inc. said Friday it filed a patent infringement lawsuit alleging that Tycom Dental Corp. in Irvine infringed on three patents covering root canal instruments. Moyco, which filed the suit in Oklahoma, makes dental and endodontic instruments. Executives of Tycom, a privately held firm, couldn’t be reached for comment.
