The Homestead series is the latest addition to Design House’s traditional line of vanities. The vanities, which can be assembled in about 20 to 30 minutes by do-it-yourselfers, have an antique maple and hunter green finish that gives them an old yet rich look.
The vanity (small, about $270; large, about $500) and other pieces in the collection feature maple doors and frames; maple fronts with plywood veneer sides; optional door pulls; concealed, self-closing hinges and dual drawer glides.
The vanity tops, made of stainless-steel molds, have a cleaner, less porous marbleized top that is nearly indistinguishable from the real thing.
Other pieces include matching linen and bath cabinets that have two or three doors, light bars and one- and two-door medicine cabinets.
