5 Computers Donated to Homeless Shelter
The Laguna Beach Friendship Shelter has received a donation of five computers for use by homeless people looking for jobs or updating computer skills.
“The new computer lab will assist us in achieving our goal of enabling our clients to compete in the job market,” said Janet Larkly, the shelter’s executive director.
The computers will be used primarily for online job searches and to gain experience with programs used by prospective employers.
Before the donation from AirTouch Southern California, the shelter had one computer, Larkly said.
