I enjoyed Russ Parsons’ In the Kitchen column (“The Comeback Crepe,” June 10), especially his comparing crepes to fashion.

Years ago, I decided to learn to make crepes and walked into a little housewares shop in West Hollywood. “Do you have crepe pans?” I asked the clerk. “No,” she replied, “we don’t carry clothes.”
