Studio City Woman Named Premier Parks VP

Sherrie Bang, former vice president of marketing for Six Flags California, has been named western division regional marketing vice president for Premier Parks Inc., which recently purchased Six Flags Theme Parks.

Bang, a Studio City resident who began her Six Flags career in 1982 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, will oversee marketing efforts for 14 theme and water parks in the West. The territory includes California, Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.

With the nearly $1-billion purchase of the Six Flags chain, Oklahoma City-based Premier Parks became the world's largest regional theme park company with 32 parks, including three in Northern California.
