Micom Communications Wins Top Product Awards

Micom Communications in Simi Valley, a Northern Telecom company, has won 1997 Product of the Year Awards for both its primary product lines, the Marathon Integration Frame Relay Access Device and the V/IP Phone/Fax IP Gateway.

Marathon received the honors from Teleconnect magazine in the January issue.

V/IP was named product of the year by Computer Telephony magazine and was featured in its December issue.

“Micom’s products continue to be recognized by the industry as pace-setters,” said George Abou-Arrage, Micom vice president of marketing.

“This underscores our progress in developing and marketing the best end-to-end solutions--in technology and products--for our customers.”

Micom develops and manufactures integrated data, voice, fax and networking devices.
