Data Processing Resources Corp.: The Newport Beach provider of information technology staffing services reported net income of $2.4 million, or 21 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, an increase of 85% from $1.3 million, or 16 cents a share, posted for the like period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 rose 88% to $44.8 million from $23.8 million. For the first half of the fiscal year, net income was up 96% to $4.9 million, or 43 cents a share, from $2.5 million, or 32 cents a share, for the first six months of the prior year. Revenue more than doubled to $89.9 million from $43.9 million.
