Record vs. Mavericks--2-0.
Update--This is rare opportunity for the Clippers, a chance to face a team they have dominated, at least recently. The Clippers have not only won both games they’ve played against Dallas this season, but have won four in a row overall against the Mavericks. With forward/center Lorenzen Wright on the disabled list because of a sprained ankle, guard James Collins has been activated. Collins had conveniently suffered a strained lower back on March 19, the day the Clippers completed a trade with the Miami Heat that added center Isaac Austin and guard Charles Smith to the Clipper roster. A new face on the Maverick roster is an old face in Los Angeles, former Laker forward Cedric Ceballos, traded from the Phoenix Suns to Dallas on Feb. 18. Ceballos had a season-high 22 points for the Mavericks Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
