From Times Wire Reports

A Wisconsin teenager who practiced stilt walking in a farmyard silo for safety set a world record for walking on the tallest stilts, said officials at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando. “Tiltin’ Travis” Wolf took 25 steps on stilts 40 feet, 10 1/4 inches tall, a Universal official said. He performed with a safety harness and handrails on stilts weighing 55 pounds each. An official from Guinness World Records verified the feat by Wolf, 16, who broke the record held by his father, “Steady Eddy” Wolf, who had walked on stilts 40 feet, 9 1/2 inches tall in 1988.
