Filenet Wins N.Y. Workers’ Comp Contract

Filenet Corp. said Wednesday that it has received a contract from the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board for a software system to manage workers’ compensation case files and incoming claims documents from seven district offices in the state.

Filenet said the software system, which will provide the board’s 1,400 employees with access to more than 15 million document images, is valued at more than $6 million.

The company said it expects the system to be online in the first district, Albany, in May. Additional districts will be added over the course of the year.
