Bridgford Foods Corp.: The Anaheim convenience food products producer posted net income of $1.7 million, or 16 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, up 55% from $1.1 million, or 10 cents a share, for the like period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Jan. 30 increased 12% to $35.5 million from $31.7 million.
