Late to work, missed the garbage pickup, Harbor Freeway a nightmare, parking lot full . . . . Thank you, Los Angeles Times, for putting life in perspective and humbling us with your wonderful depiction of Ralph Council and his simple expression of joy. What obstacles this extraordinary human must overcome in his daily life, and how pathetic the majority of us become as we dwell on our daily petty inconveniences in comparison to the challenges this man obviously meets with every step.

Bless you, Ralph Council, your life and soaring kites are an inspiration to us all!
