Albert Wolff; Last of the ‘Untouchables’

Albert H. Wolff, 95, the last surviving member of Eliot Ness’ squad of federal Treasury Department agents known as the “Untouchables.” The officers, who were portrayed in a television series and a film, were named for their unwillingness to take bribes from such mob bosses as Al Capone. Wolff was a technical consultant on the 1987 film and showed actor Kevin Costner such things as how the agents of his era handled weapons.
