Expected to be a staple at Buena for years to come, Greathouse averaged 13.3 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots a game, bringing to mind some of the achievements her sister, Nicole, reached as a Bulldog.

Good ball-handling skills and superb one-on-one moves allowed Hofmann, the Channel League player of the year, to average a team-high 14.5 points for the No. 1 team in The Times’ regional poll.

A repeat selection to The Times’ All-Ventura County team, Potkey averaged 7.0 assists and became the Cougars’ career assists leader.

The key player in the Lancers’ improbable drive to their third consecutive Marmonte League co-championship. Salvador averaged 9.0 points and 8.1 rebounds to lead a balanced team.

Jessica Sanders, Royal

Forward

Among the county’s best all-around athletes, Sanders averaged 11.6 points and 7.1 rebounds to lead the Highlanders to a Marmonte League co-championship and a berth in the Southern Section Division I-A quarterfinals.

Chenne Tuimoloau, Channel Islands

5-10, Sophomore

Guard

Selected the most valuable player of the Marmonte League, one of the region’s toughest, Tuimoloau averaged 16.4 points and 6.1 assists.

Alicia Weber, Royal

Guard

The emotional leader averaged a team-high 13.2 points and 6.1 assists for a Highlander team that enjoyed its best campaign in 16 seasons.
