OptimumCare Corp.: The Laguna Niguel provider of behavioral health services said it lost $270,490, or 4 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, contrasted with a net income of $212,018, or 1 cent a share, for the same period last year. Revenue increased 15% to $3.1 million from $2.7 million. For the year, net income dropped 48% to $454,350, or 6 cents a share, from $876,716, or 13 cents a share, for 1996. Revenue was up 13% to $12.1 million from $10.7 million. The company said its results were affected by the decision to end its partnership with Galaxy Health Care Inc., as well as by a write-off of goodwill related to a 1996 acquisition.
