Pinnacle Micro Inc.: The Irvine producer of optical storage technology and recordable CD storage systems said it lost $939,000, or 6 cents a share, for the first quarter, compared with a net loss of $4.1 million, or 39 cents a share, for the first quarter of 1997. Sales dropped to $4 million from $14.1 million.
