ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Richey Electronics Inc.: The Garden Grove distributor of electronic components posted net income of $2.1 million, or 21 cents a share, for the first quarter ended April 3, up 24% from $1.7 million, or 18 cents a share, for the like period last year. Sales rose 25% to $70.8 million from $56.8 million.
