Nerox in Talks to Sell Alaska Coal Mine

Nerox Energy Corp. said Monday it is negotiating to sell its Jonesville, Alaska, coal mine to Usibelli Coal Mines.

Irvine-based Nerox said the sale will leave the company debt-free while providing as much as $1 million in cash and a potential royalty income stream.

Nerox Energy said the sale also would allow it to implement a corporate strategy to diversify into software, media and entertainment.

Nerox Energy is a holding company with interests in oil, natural gas, coal and power plant development.
