INSTALLATION CEREMONY: The Rev. Lynda Kay will be installed in her new post as minister of the Santa Clarita Science of Mind Center at a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. May 31 at the center, 26111 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita. Kay, who accepted the position in February, has been aligned with Science of Mind principles since 1971. She has been an active supporter of organizations such as AIDS Project Los Angeles, Love Is Feeding Everyone and Aid to Victims of Domestic Violence, and hopes to increase the center’s level of community outreach and service. NEW PASTOR NAMED: Cardinal Roger Mahony has named Father Austin Doran as the new pastor of Our Lady of Grace Church, 5011 White Oak Ave., Encino, effective July 1. Doran was spiritual director and a faculty member at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo. He will succeed Auxiliary Bishop Gerald Wilkerson, pastor of Our Lady of Grace for 12 years until his episcopal ordination earlier this year. Information: (818) 342-4686.
