Police Invite Runners to a 10K Benefit
The Oxnard Police Department is sponsoring a 10K run through the Channel Islands Harbor area May 16.
The $20 registration fee includes a 1998 California Strawberry Festival T-shirt.
Check-in is at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m.
All proceeds will benefit the department’s Police Activities League and canine units.
The registration fee will be waived for all police officers and reserve officers.
However, all runners must fill out a registration form before the race.
Forms are available at the PAL offices at the old Oxnard High School.
