“I have a group of friends that gets together once a month for dinner. The rule is, you have to pull the best wines from your cellar. The one that stunned everyone in the group the last time was a ’95 Foppiano Cabernet. It was in a flight of mostly red Burgundies and it was fruity with a lot of structure and a lot of backbone, just a wonderful wine. The guy is in the right climate, he’s got some good soils and he certainly knows how to make red wine.”
