1,000 Motorcyclists to Take Part in Benefit
About 1,000 motorcyclists from all over the western United States will converge on the South Bay on Sunday for the Seventh Annual Ride for Kids event, which benefits pediatric brain tumor research.
The event will begin at Torrance Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue and will take riders through Torrance and around the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Registration for the ride begins at 7:30 a.m. and the ride gets underway at 10 a.m.
Since its inception, the Ride for Kids has raised more than $4.5 million to research pediatric brain tumors. Information: (800) 253-6530.
