Anti-Smoking Ads
Re “Teen-Driven Ad Campaign Puts Heat on Big Tobacco,” May 8:
“The kids are saying: ‘It’s no fun to rebel against your parents and smoke if you’re doing what rich white adults want you to do,’ ” says Peter Mitchell, marketing director of the Florida Pilot Program on Tobacco Control, on the ad campaign to reduce teen smoking.
The state of Florida is battling teenage tobacco use with negative, victim-obsessed, convoluted, simple-minded psychology based on racism and rage.
Nice trade-off.
