Bank of Ventura Reports Modest Income Gain

The Bank of Ventura reported a slight increase in net income during the first quarter of 1998 over the same period last year.

The bank recorded net income of $140,372, compared with $136,208 in the first quarter of 1997. At the end of the quarter, the bank’s assets were $54.2 million, an increase of 21% from last year’s figure of $44.7 million.

Located at 5808 Telephone Road in Ventura, the bank recently expanded its full-service residential mortgage department.
