Comarco Net Off 24%

Comarco Inc., the Yorba Linda provider of wireless communication products, software and engineering services, reported first quarter net income of $840,000, or 17 cents a share, down 24% from the $1.1 million, or 21 cents a share, for the 1997 first quarter. Revenue increased 8% to $21.8 million from $20.1 million. The company attributed the earnings decline to higher expenses, which it had planned, for product development.
