New Science Labs Coming at Schools
New laboratories will be added at three middle schools in response to new standards strengthening science requirements for eighth-graders.
Capistrano Unified School District trustees approved construction plans this week for the labs at Aliso Niguel, Marco Forster and Newhart middle schools. Additionally, the district plans to add science laboratories at Capistrano Valley, Dana Hills and San Clemente high schools. The construction cost for all the schools is estimated at $175,000.
