Investigators Ready to Review Ramsey File

Share

Prosecutors, criminologists, forensic scientists and police will hold their first comprehensive review of evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey case next week. Boulder Dist. Atty. Alex Hunter then hopes to decide within a month whether to present the case to a grand jury. Evidence to be presented beginning June 1 will include hundreds of interviews and more than 30,000 pages of reports about the slaying of the 6-year-old beauty queen on Dec. 26, 1996. A grand jury, with its sweeping subpoena power, could offer investigators a chance to question the parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, who have denied involvement in the slaying.
