Sunstone Operating Officer Quits

Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc.’s lessee affiliate, Sunstone Hotel Properties, said its chief operating officer, Michael George, resigned to take an unspecified position with another hospitality company.

Sunstone Hotel Properties President Randy Hulce said he will oversee operations while the position remains vacant indefinitely. The affiliate also named David Kinkade senior vice president, planning and administration. He was vice president, acquisitions.

The company said Kinkade will assume some of Hulce’s administrative duties.

Sunstone Hotel Properties, based in San Clemente, is a real estate investment trust that manages 61 hotels.
