What a Stretch

Celebrity chasers visiting Media City might want to check out Taco Bell on Olive Street, across from Warner Bros. and near NBC in Burbank, which boasts a parking space designated “LIMOSINE.” (Yup, the home of the 69-cent taco missed the U.) An enterprising manager instituted the space in 1986, when he began mounting celebrity glossies on the walls. “That got the ball rolling about making the store a slice of Hollywood,” says Taco Bell rep Chandra Streifel. The restaurant, No. 173, claims a clientele that has included Jay Leno, Tom Hanks and NBC’s “Today in L.A.” anchor Kent Shocknek. Sharp-eyed employees say they’ve spotted sitcom celebs Jaleel White and Reginald VelJohnson of the now-defunct “Family Matters”going for the gorditas--and, one would hope, accompanying them with Champagne--behind tinted windows.
