TULSA, Okla. — Tablets were found hidden in candy given to a young girl who was out trick-or-treating here for Halloween, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.
“A small child told her parents that she had bitten into a piece of bubble gum and found a white tablet,” Det. Steve Norton told Reuters.
A total of four tablets were found among the candy, and they have been sent to a lab for analysis. The girl suffered no ill effects, and authorities are investigating the incident, Norton said.
