StarBase Corp.: The Santa Ana computer software company posted a net loss of $2.5 million, or 14 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.8 million, or 13 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $1.6 million from $366,000.
