Chess Players Can Test Skills at Tournament

Chess players can test their skills at the Not-For-Turkeys Chess Tourney, XIV, today at the La Habra Chess Club.

Six rounds will complete the United States Chess Federation Rated tournament, which will be held Fridays at 7:45 p.m. Tournament fees are $6. Players under 18 pay $3. U.S. Chess Federation membership is required and may be obtained at the chess club. The chess club meets in the Veterans Memorial Hall, Civic Center Complex, one block east of Euclid Street, one block north of La Habra Boulevard.
