Katie Smith scored 20 points as the two-time defending ABL champion Columbus Quest opened its season with a 93-65 victory over the New England Blizzard at Columbus, Ohio.
Smith’s play helped compensate for the loss of Andrea Lloyd, who retired, and two-time championship series MVP Valerie Still, who might sit out the season because of a knee injury.
