Advance Photonix Notes 5th Profitable Quarter

Advanced Photonix in Camarillo reported its fifth-consecutive profitable quarter.

Revenue for the second quarter ended Sept. 27 was $2 million, an increase of 31% over $1.5 million reported in the second quarter last year. Net income rose to $135,000, or 1 cent per share, compared with $10,000 with no gain per share in last year’s second quarter.

Advanced Photonix is a high-technology company that designs and manufactures silicon photodetectors and optoelectronic hybrid assemblies.
