Cosmonauts Set Up ‘Meteorite Trap’

Two cosmonauts on the Mir space station took a spacewalk to mount a French-made device for catching and studying meteorite particles. The “meteorite trap” will collect data on a barrage of particles expected to peak around Mir in mid-November, a mission control spokesman said. A French astronaut will take the device back to Earth for analysis early next year.
