1 Minute of Silence for Fire Victims

Sweden came to a halt for a minute to remember 63 teenagers killed when fire roared through a packed disco in the city of Goteborg on Oct. 30. Parliament stopped work at 2 p.m. Flags were lowered, taxi drivers stood by their cars at the roadside, manual trading halted on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, and offices fell silent.
